What is Stephanie Nguyen’s story?
Stephanie Nguyen has an extensive history in women’s health. She began her career as a Postpartum Nurse and later moved on to work in Labor & Delivery and High-Risk Antepartum. She then received her degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and left the hospital setting for the office setting, where she cared for a wide variety of patients at Camelback Women’s Health. After having her own two children, Rilynn and Rachel, and meeting other moms, she noticed there was a strong need for breastfeeding support in the community. She was inspired to open Modern Milk in January 2015, an innovative community-support center in Scottsdale that offers pregnant and new moms a multitude of opportunities to assist in the journey of healthy motherhood with a breastfeeding clinic, pre-and-postnatal educational center, fitness studio featuring a variety of mommy-and-me classes such as Barre and yoga classes, and a curated mom and baby boutique. “It takes a village to raise a child” and Modern Milk is the wellness, fitness, and community solution for the new age mom and parents.
As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Stephanie loves being able to combine her passion for women’s health and helping other moms to provide breastfeeding support and education. She believes that all moms need support and the more moms she can help, the better. “Happy mom, happy baby” is Stephanie’s mantra and it has continued to ring true with each of her clients at Modern Milk.
