Your biggest accomplishment and why: Launching Adamo Education and seeing the vision I had come to life. Adamo gives parents and students school choice options and helps to meet the needs of learners in a small, personalized learning environment.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: Starting a business. I am a skilled educator, but starting a business has been a new experience for me, yet we are growing and expanding.
Someone who inspires you and why: Carol Dweck. Her research on growth mindset is a fundamental tenant at Adamo. When students believe they get smarter, they understand that effort makes them stronger and leads to higher achievement. At Adamo, we believe in empowering students with their strengths, weaknesses and opportunities. We help them chart a course to success.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Don’t wait! If you have an idea, do it! Remember that nothing can happen if you don’t take a chance.

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I grew up in England and got to travel across the United Kingdom and parts of Europe.
