Hometown: Phoenix

Favorite ways to spend your free time in AZ: Hiking is one of my favorite activities in Arizona. I also enjoy exploring the smaller cities and rural regions of the state.

First job: My first job was as a cart attendant at a Target in North Phoenix. Thankfully, I was quickly pulled inside to work the service desk instead, but I enjoyed my cart attendant days.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: Starting my business is an obvious but significant achievement. However, I am also very proud of my work at The Phoenix Symphony, where I led a digital transformation that resulted in an industry-leading strategy and nearly $3 million in increased revenue during my two-year tenure.

The biggest obstacle you overcame: In recent years, I have invested considerable time and money in addressing my mental health. Anxiety and other mental health challenges made many aspects of my life, including work and leisure, much more difficult than they needed to be.

Someone who inspires you and why: Richard Branson inspires me with his adventurous spirit, innovative mindset, and resilience. He gracefully handles failure and continually pursues bigger and better opportunities. Additionally, he openly addresses his struggles with dyslexia. We all have hidden struggles; many CEOs won’t address them publicly. I’ve struggled with anxiety most of my adult life, but I am now able to address this and be candid about it.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Don’t wait. If you have a goal, take steps every day to move closer to achieving it. Also, learn to understand the value of every decision in your life, both personal and professional. Consider what you are giving up by saying no or the true cost of saying yes.

Favorite quote: “This too shall pass.” —Abraham Lincoln

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I once charmed an entire Boeing 747 crew with a bag of keychains. It’s a good story—ask me about it when you see me at events.

What makes someone fabulous: Consistency and accountability. While I am still working on consistency, I learned the importance of accountability early in life, and it has served me well.
