Your biggest accomplishment and why: Creating and formulated my own edge control and hair growth oil. It’s been a dream of mine since I was a little girl playing with my grandmother’s hair. Accomplishing that still takes my breath away.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: Imposter syndrome. I realized that I am right where I’m supposed to be and deserving of everything coming my way.
Someone who inspires you and why: Sounds cliché but my husband. He relentlessly conquers everything he sets his eye on. He is the most ambitious person that I know. He helped to pull my greatness out.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Consistency will go farther than your competition every time. Be on time, charge your worth and constantly educate your client on their hair health. Remember a salon appointment is a doctor’s appointment for hair. LOL.
