What does walking in Fashionably Pink mean to you?

Walking in fashionably pink means two different things to me!

As a survivor walking on the Phoenix fashion week runway is a celebration of life, of every day that I able to live and make more memories with the ones I love!

As the Founder and CEO of Don’t be a chump! Check for a lump! It is an honored opportunity to bring awareness to breast cancer in a “fashionably pink” light to help save women’s lives! We are grateful to Brian hill and Phoenix fashion week For the opportunity to reach our community through fashion. Together we are making a difference! In the fight against breast cancer.

What does walking in Fashionably Pink mean to you?

It is an honor to walk the runway in Fashionably Pink for many reasons and one reason I love being part of this fabulous event is because it saves lives!!!! Fashionably Pink is helping women get the treatments they might not be able to afford. And I love showing other survivors they can live a full and complete life after Breast cancer.

What does walking in Fashionably Pink mean to you?

Walking in the Fashionably Pink Show makes me feel a great sense of pride in the generosity of my community, and it is humbling to have a room full of people I have never meant celebrate in my recovery, and the recovery of others. The silver lining of this diagnosis would be the wonderful people I have found myself surrounded by, and the unwavering support system they provided me.

What does walking in Fashionably Pink mean to you?

It means that I was given  access to an exclusive and glamorous event I would otherwise not have access to through ordinary means.

I first  read about FP in 2015 after undergoing a double mastectomy and while undergoing chemo, and I knew then, that I wanted to be in this show: I wanted to celebrate my victory some day in a very big and special way!

Because of this opportunity that Brian Hill and his staff have given me tonight, I am going to rock FP and enjoy every glamorous moment of this very special evening!  I intend to fully celebrate my life as a winner and survivor in this cancer marathon of life as I endeavor to repeat my previous success!

A most heartfelt THANK YOU to Brian Hill who made this evening a  dream come true for me and a page in my book of life that I wont soon forget! ❤️
