Restaurant of the Week: Salty Senorita

New food, new space, same Salty Senorita feel!

Salty Senorita has re-opened in Old Town with a new menu! The new menu will introduce beach-inspired cuisine with many ingredients taken right from the restaurant’s open-air vegetable garden. The menu will have handmade corn tortillas, tableside guacamole, crab flautas, grilled salmon with kale and romaine salad; Mexican inspired flat breads such as the Coca Cola Machaca with Pickled Onion, Pico, and Manchego; Iron-Skillet Fajitas, Tamales Nuevos including the Maple Jalapeno Carnitas with Sweet Corn Tamale and Candied Jalapeno; Grilled Shrimp Burritos, and a variety of a la carte tacos including Skirt Steak Asada, Smoked Octopus” al Carbon,” Chicken Tinga, Maple Jalapeno Carnitas and more to the menu.

In addition to the new menu, Salty’s has a whole new space. The restaurant was transformed with a rustic and contemporary mix of wood finishes including reclaimed barn wood, stained glass, distressed concrete walls and furniture choices that lean to clean lines and modern influences.  Colorful mosaic tile bar tops and columns, custom paint and finish work, barn-wood walls, hard-wood floors, and an open beam ceiling with halogen pin spots give the space movement and liveliness.

Another cool feature of Salty Senorita? Outside, Salty Senorita will offer curbside delivery, a convenient takeout counter, and family style picnic table dining. In addition, Salty Senorita will offer free Wifi and tableside POS, pet friendly patios, live acoustic music and DJs.  The restaurant will also provide beach cruiser parking with a “Bicycle Valet” that not only parks the bikes but also cleans the bikes while guests are dining.”
