Zookz Sandwiches is serving up the best toasted sandwiches ‘round in their newest digs at the northeast corner of Central and Camelback for breakfast and lunch.
This unique style of sandwich came to be when the owners Grandmother brought a sandwich press back from a trip and started making round toasted sandwiches of every variety. And now you can get these delicious creations right here!
With perfectly toasted pastry-esque bread, and a variety of fillings from breakfast offerings, vegetarian, Thanksgiving dinner, to roast beef and horseradish, there is something for everyone. Zookz also offers salads and sweet sandwiches for dessert such as the No. 55 with peanut butter, Nutella, bananas, roasted almonds, and powder sugar. They can also make any sandwich gluten-free.
Our favorite sandwiches included the No. 44 – egg frittata, bacon, ham, parmesan, feta and roasted red peppers. Our other favorite was the No. 10 – turkey, parmesan, apples, cranberries, roasted almond… aka Thanksgiving Dinner served year-round.
