NCounter is a Tempe favorite that has opened their second location in Downtown Phoenix. Located off First Avenue and Roosevelt Street at the Union @ Roosevelt and closely located to the Roosevelt lightrail stop, Ncounter is adding their breakfast and lunch specialties to your work day, school day, and weekend.
Ncounter Downtown is a cozy gathering spot with a hint of modern funkiness. The décor fits in well with the recent DTPHX makeover and makes for an inviting experience. Walk up to smiling faces and an extensive menu and order to-go, sit and relax in one of their tables, or post up at the 15 seat bar.
You will notice right away that NCounter is about fresh, made from scratch foods including house made granola, jams, soups, and pastries. Start with one of their specialty coffees from Cartel Coffee, another local favorite or if you’re really in the mood try one of their hand crafted cocktails. Our faves include The Frose’ which is an AMAZING take on Rose’. The frozen concoction includes hints of fresh fruit, vodka, and an optional Grand Marnier topper! If Rose’ is not your thing (we may not be friends) try one of their creative Bloody Mary’s including the Basil Lime Bloody Mary, Cucumber Mary, and Bourbon Maple Bloody Mary.
If Coffee and cocktails are not screaming your name Ncounter also offers fresh fruit smoothies. The Hulk Smoothie includes spinach, banana, green apple, oj, and yogurt or the PB-J Smoothie with soy milk, blueberries, strawberries, and peanut butter.
Breakfast is served all day and one of our favorites was the unique Pear Omelet. The Pear Omelet includes bosc pear, Havarti cheese, sliced almonds, and bacon. This omelet is unlike any omelet I have tried, it has a perfect combination of savory and sweet ingredients and is a must try.
For a more traditional, yet still creative option, try Ncounters Chipotle Egg Burrito that includes bacon, avocado, cilantro, potato, egg, cheese and chipotle sauce. Another favorite is the Red Velvet French Toast. Yes, this is real-life! The pastry fave turned French Toast is exactly how delicious as you think it would be! So good! Some other considerations include the Chilequiles, The Killer Breakfast Sandwich, and the Santa Fe Saute.
Ncounter also brings you healthy options to their menu. The Yogurt and Granola Cup includes their house made granola and fruit or try the Healthy Oats featuring almond, banana, and brown sugar!
Breakfast is not NCoutners only specialty. NCounter has an extensive lunch menu that includes specialty sandwiches, house made soups, and hearty and healthy salads! Try their Super Kale Salad with edamame, cranberries, almonds, chicken, kale, and lemon vinaigrette. Another amazing option is the Smokehouse Avocado Stack with turkey, sprouts, tomato, avocado, and mayo.
NCounter is open Monday-Sunday from 7:00-3:00pm. They serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch all day.
