Restaurant of the Week: Fellow Osteria

From the team behind Clever Koi and Across The Pond, Fellow Osteria is a casual Italian-style ‘Osteria,’ an eatery and craft cocktail bar, located at SkySong in Scottsdale.


Fellow is the latest culinary and cocktail passion project from co-owners Nicholas Campisano (2017 Arizona Restaurant Association Manager of the Year) and Joshua James (winner of the 2018 Arizona Cocktail Weekend’s Last Slinger Standing bartending competition).

Fellow also features the talents of two local food artisans, starting with Justin Rohner of Agriscapes. In fact, Fellow guests can literally see their food growing in SkySong’s 2,000 sq.-ft. Agriscapes garden right outside Fellow’s windows, which will provide fresh produce and more all year-round.

Fellow’s comprehensive menu of pizzas, pastas, salads and sandwiches and more was designed in consultation with iconic Phoenix chef, Claudio Urciuoli (Pa’La), to ensure the menu delivers an authentic Italian oesteria experience, including rare, nearly extinct varieties of wheat, high-quality ingredients from sourcing pipelines that extend deep into the Italian countryside.


The style of this new concept is casual, yet stylish, with a dining room that opens up to a large patio. The focal point of the dining room is a beautiful bar offering beautifully crafted cocktails, Italian wines and a selection of beers.

For appetizers, we highly recommend the Octopus with potato, salina, capers and celery. We were very pleased to hear the Octopus was from Chula Seafood, making it extremely fresh and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.


You can’t go wrong with any of the salads. They offer a nice variety with one of our favorites being the Kale salad with raisin, pistachio, parmigiano and apple. There is an option to add steak, chicken or shrimp if you would like to make it more of a meal.

Being an Italian restaurant, you must try the pasta, which is made fresh daily. The House-Made Swiss Chard Ravioli is a fan favorite. There are also a variety of pizzas to choose from, including the La Quercia Prosciutto with Funghi.


For additional entree options, you’ll find Niman Ranch Beef, Niman Ranch Pork and Salmon.

Fellow Osteria is open Sunday – Thursday 11am – 9pm and Friday & Saturday 11am – 11pm.
