Phoenix’s newest restaurant, Sushi Vibe, is a family-friendly Japanese dining option that serves fresh sushi cuisine in a sleek, modern setting.
The Valley food scene has continued to diversify its culinary offerings over the years—and Uptown Plaza has served as a major influencer in pushing those trends for Arizona foodies and consumers alike. Sushi Vibe is a prime example of that.
The dining concept comes from owner Masa Kim, who also introduced neighborhood favorites like Sushi Style, Fresh Wasabi and Sushiholic, to the Valley.
Kim’s passion is apparent in every specially crafted dish served at the restaurant. But beyond the extensive menu, the real gem is in the experience that Sushi Vibe’s team affords to each guest who visits—think trendy ambience, comfortable dining and completely affordable prices, all wrapped up into one perfect space.
The interior aesthetic is sharp and vibrant—with unmissable lighting decor, color-washed walls, and a polished bar seating area that offers visitors a glimpse of the magic that takes place in the kitchen each day.
Sushi Vibe also features an expansive front patio that overlooks the plaza’s courtyard—the perfect place to indulge in an authentic sushi dinner while enjoying Arizona’s gorgeous evening weather.
While the team is currently operating on a limited menu, their full menu typically includes items like salmon teriyaki, halibut hirame, miso eggplant, tuna vibe and classic sashimi.
The freshness in ingredients that Kim uses means that regardless of whether or not you’re a fan of sushi, you’ll fall in love with the Japanese offerings at Sushi Vibe.
The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4:30 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
