The Barley Hound is an American gastropub located in the heart of Prescott that has become an eclectic culinary destination with the city’s best craft cocktail menu.
A must-visit anytime you are in Prescott, as well as a local favorite, The Barley Hound recently released new menu items and revealed a “backyard” expansion that more than doubles the restaurant’s capacity. The character-rich, Victorian-style home the restaurant lives in is already known for its great front-yard patio, but the 1,800-sq.-ft. backyard patio will host live music, games and additional outdoor dining space.
While The Barley Hound owner Skyler Reeves and his partner Chef Tony Burris have added some new items to the menu, they preserved some of the most popular staples including the duck fat fries, ‘Merica burger and bread pudding.
One of the newest additions to the menu is the fully-loaded cauliflower nachos with slow-roasted brisket, Southwest spiced white, purple and orange cauliflower, house-made nacho cheese, pico de gallo, bell pepper trilogy, green chilies, pickled jalapenos, diced tomato and fresh cilantro.
Save room for the new dessert – Aunt Andrea’s Flower Cake with Oreo crumb, gummy worms, milk chocolate pudding and a flower.
