From build-your-own ramen bowls to creative tacos on freshly made tortillas, we can’t wait to dig in at these new and soon-to-open Arizona dining concepts.

October

Phoenix’s FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel just unveiled its new signature dining, take-out and market concept, Match Market and Bar. The concept combines an artisan market with to-go meals and wine; grab-and-go items; curbside service; pantry staples; specialty gifts; quick-service breakfast, lunch and dinner for in-restaurant dining and take-out; and an inviting bar and lounge. Match Market also carries a collection of gifts from makers both local and afar and plans to host trunk shows and pop-up shops.

The Craftsman Cocktails and Kitchen, specializing in hand-crafted cocktails and creative classic tastes, is now open in Scottsdale. The comfortable neighborhood joint dishes up a unique take on traditional dishes (faves include house-made lamb belly sausage flatbread, Craftsman tuna poke sandwich, wood oven-roasted desert branzino and more), hand-crafted cocktails, wine and craft beers. The Craftsman will also feature its own line of distilled spirits.

November

The Buzz Eatery & Treats is set to open its doors this November in Scottsdale. The new family-friendly concept will serve as the “hive” where guests can enjoy everything from a cup of coffee (or botanical tea) in the morning to a glass of wine (or a boozy ice pop!) in the evening. All-day favorites at The Buzz will include build-your-own avocado toast or egg scramble; customizable acai bowls; hot and cold sandwiches; sharable dishes; and even a honey flight tasting board.

Vivili Hospitality Group is set to debut La Planchada, a modern taqueria and tequila bar, in Prescott. La Planchada will offer fast-causal service and a concise menu of daily Mexican-inspired specials and inventive tacos, wrapped in hand-pressed, freshly made tortillas. The restaurant will also feature an extensive cocktail program and inventive libations, along with the city’s largest selection of tequilas and agave-based spirits with more than 100 varietals to choose from.

ARRIVE’s bon vivant-style penthouse cocktail lounge, Don Woods’ Say When, will open at the new Phoenix hotel in early December. The stylish dining destination will offer guests a step back to the ’60s and ’70s with retro-modern cocktails and throwback bar bites, like Fondue for Two and chilled shrimp cocktail. And don’t miss the sights, as 270-degree city views can be admired from the bar’s perch.

Late December/January

The fast-casual, build-your-own ramen and bao restaurant will offer convenient online ordering, as well as the full food and drink menus available to-go, including craft cocktails.
