With its focus on community, creativity and commerce, RED Development is expanding CityScape Phoenix and Block 23 with a variety of new restaurant concepts and localized hospitality groups. With some grand openings happening now and other debuts set in the future in Downtown Phoenix, take a look at the new tenants.
With its grand opening on Nov. 13, Fox Restaurant Concept introduces its sixth Blanco Cocina + Cantina location into Block 23, the first-ever restaurant to open at the high-rise destination. The modernized Mexican restaurant will feature its classic array of vibrant food, drink and interactive art installments.
In mid-2021 comes Ingo’s Tasty Food, the second of the New American-style restaurant concept curated by LGO Hospitality. Those who love the original location in Arcadia will be pleased to know the eatery’s menu will share its signature cocktails, grass-fed beef and only the freshest ingredients with no grain or animal byproduct.
Aside from culinary developments, The Ryan, developed by StreetLight Residential and Metlife Investment Company, has leased an astounding 30 percent of its property since welcoming residents into Block 23 this past summer. The community features luxury amenities from a fifth-level pool deck to spas pampering your furry friends.
Growing alongside Block 23, RED has also welcomed new tenants into CityScape including San Diego-based Everbowl. The health-driven eatery opens its third location in Arizona, providing some of the best superfood acai bowls to the heart of downtown.
Following its opening is The Phoenix Bourbon Room, a concept from State 48 set to open in 2021. The restaurant will work closely with local distilleries to curate the largest collection of sprites, bourbons and whiskeys in all of Phoenix. The menu features prime meats, fresh seafood and, of course, State 48’s full lineup of brews.
Slated to open this spring at CityScape Phoenix are two new-to-market concepts: the South Carolina-based 810 Billiards & Bowling and The Yard Milkshake Bar. 810 Billiards & Bowling will offer a brand-new upscale entertainment, dining and bar experience, while The Yard specializes in over-the-top, extreme desserts.
If you can’t wait to enjoy all of the exciting new tenants coming into the new year, you can still enjoy some new features that have recently opened their doors. Pigtails, a speak-easy cocktail and raw seafood bar, as well as Dog Haus Biergarten’s 50th nationwide location, bringing all the hormone- and antibiotic-free beef of Creekside Farms to Arizona, are open.
