Before you even crack open the menu at The Oakmont, it is easy to be impressed. The casual dining spot, located at Flagstaff’s historic Continental Country Club, is easy on the eyes with tufted booths, window walls, a large bar area, gorgeous lighting and touches of warm wood throughout the spacious dining area. It is an ideal spot for gathering friends and family to watch a game on the expansive TVs.

When you’re not distracted by the views, you’ll notice the dinner menu features classic, crowd-pleasing eats, like wings, tacos and salads. The Cajun pasta will be a table favorite with andouille sausage, chicken, shrimp, bell pepper, onion, yellow mushroom, parmesan cheese and a spicy Cajun cream sauce over penne. For a lighter option, the Mediterranean salmon is paired with lemon risotto, harissa, sun-dried tomato, artichoke, olives, capers and dill in pesto sauce.
To wash it down, the Devil’s Passion is a spicy favorite with Canyon Diablo whiskey, watermelon, passionfruit, jalapeño and lemon while the herbal Turmeric Tonic is truly unique, with house gin, Cynar liqueur, tonic, ginger, turmeric and rosemary.
