From prime rib to pasta, beer to burgers, be sure Dad is well-fed this Father’s Day (June 20) by booking a table at one of these Valley restaurants. There are plenty of delicious freebies to enjoy, too!

Common Ground Culinary is celebrating Father’s Day with two great specials being served all Sunday long. At Grassroots Kitchen & Tap in Scottsdale or The Macintosh in Phoenix, sink your teeth into delicious BBQ beef ribs, served with a side of crispy shoestring potatoes and brother’s tangy slaw. Chef Christopher will whip up his famous prime rib at The Collins Small Batch Kitchen in Phoenix and at Twisted Grove Parlor + Bar in Scottsdale. The Collins will be open from 4 to 9 p.m. on Father’s Day, and the other three restaurants will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

On Sunday, June 20, Dad and his guests can dig into Match Market and Bar’s Father’s Day Special: green chile bacon burger loaded with mayo, pickles, tomato, 1000 Island dressing and roasted Anaheim chile, with a choice of side as well as a choice of either a well cocktail, draught beer or glass of house wine for just $15. The special is available 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

On Sunday, June 20, Phoenix City Grille is offering festive specials just for the occasion, including seafood pasta, smoked prime rib and Argentine New York strip loin. Plus, all day long, Phoenix City Grille toasts to dads with their choice of a complimentary beverage – either a glass of house wine or a domestic beer — to sip with their meal. 

Father’s Day at Pork on a Fork in Deer Valley is set to be extra special this year. On Sunday, June 20, generations of dads are invited in to enjoy delicious BBQ and a special discount. All day long, father-son duos will receive 10 percent off their orders (up to $10 in discounts) and father, son and grandson groups will receive 20 percent off their orders (up to $20 in discounts).

Dining at Belle’s Nashville Kitchen will be reservations only on Sunday, June 20. A Honky Tonk brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Father’s Day with a brunch special that includes a 10-oz. flatiron steak, eggs, hash browns and a flight of craft beer. Coming for dinner? The special will have a 10-oz. flatiron steak, fries, a side salad and a beer flight. If you buy the special, for brunch or dinner, you will be entered to win a Father’s Day goody bag and the mystery grand prize. Anyone is welcome to buy a $2 raffle ticket for a goody bag but only those who buy the special will be entered to win the grand prize. The winner of the grand prize will be chosen by the end of the night and will receive a call to set up a time for them to come and collect their prize.

Geordie’s at the Wrigley Mansion will feature a five-course plated brunch on Sunday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. $78 per person; $45 for children aged 5 to 12; complimentary for children aged 4 and under. The meal includes a complimentary starter cocktail. Reservations are available via Tock.

Los Sombreros is offering customers a delicious way to celebrate Dad with a Father’s Day special at its Scottsdale and Mesa locations. Guests can dig into a 16-oz. flatiron steak, polenta and grilled asparagus with a draft beer of their choice for $50. 

Roaring Fork

Treat Dad to a delicious meal at Roaring Fork in Scottsdale beginning at 4 p.m. on Father’s Day. Available in the saloon and patio only, choose from an assortment of tempting menu options at a discounted prices including chicken tinga tacos, green chili pork stew and hot chicken sandwich.

Through the entire month of June, Original Breakfast House is serving up Father’s Day specials, like chicken mole tamale and eggs, shrimp and grits, 6-oz. filet mignon and eggs, and several other Dad-approved delights.

Trapp Haus BBQ is featuring a slow-smoked specialty just for the holiday, including the following for just $25: choice of meat (grilled jerked tri tip, smoked grilled half chicken or whole hog), two sides and jalapeno cheddar cornbread. Dads are also treated to an ice-cold beer of their choice with this deal. 

Dads can have their choice of a free slice of cake or a large black and white cookie with purchase of an entrée at Chompie’s on Father’s Day. Offer is available exclusively for dine-in guests.

Dads can enjoy the Mediterranean-style Kafta Burger with either a glass of Jungle Vino or a glass of select beer for only $14.99 at participating locations of Pita Jungle.

Let your dad customize his own poke bowl at Koibito Poke on Father’s Day, and he can receive a free medium bowl with any size bowl and soft drink purchase. 

Dad can enjoy a beer for a penny with the purchase of an entrée at Diego Pops. While you’re there, enjoy happy hour with half off appetizers and drink specials from 3 until 6 p.m. 

Dads can sip on $1 Peroni beers with a purchase of any entrée at The Montauk. Catch brunch from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and listen to live music from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. 

CIELO

Treat Dad to a Father’s Day brunch celebration at ADERO Scottsdale‘s signature restaurant, CIELO, on June 20 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families can indulge in delectable entrees using the freshest ingredients, including smoked herb-crusted prime rib of beef; a chilled seafood display serving crab legs, oysters and a shrimp cocktail; and more. Don’t miss the dessert display of Dad’s Favorite Cookies and an assortment of brownies, cakes and pies.

Crumbl Cookies will be offering special flavors the week of Father’s Day as well as its signature Milk Chocolate Chip and Chilled Sugar Cookies. Crumbl is closed on Sunday, June 20, so make sure to celebrate him any time of the week with a box of four, six or 12. Available for delivery or pickup. 

JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa will be wishing dads an old-fashioned Happy Father’s Day with a “Better with Age” cocktail and $5 bottled beer all weekend. Beginning Thursday, June 17, to Sunday, June 20, enjoy this $29 maple-smoked old-fashioned, made with WhistlePig and topped with a bacon garnish.

Joey and Melissa Maggiore will honor their late father, Chef Tomaso Maggiore, with Father’s Day specials that will benefit the Tomaso Maggiore Culinary Arts Foundation. During the week leading up to Father’s Day, June 14 to June 20, The Sicilian Butcher Tatum location will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds from two of chef Tomaso’s favorite dishes to the foundation: veal osso buco and lobster fra diavolo. On Father’s Day, at the newly opened The Italian Daughter, sales from the cioppino with lobster tail, veal spiedini and classic dishes like the veal osso buco (normally only offered on Friday and Saturday) and the Spaghetti picchiu pacchiu will be donated to the Tomaso Culinary Arts Foundation.

Liberty Station American Tavern and Smokehouse and Keeler’s Neighborhood Steakhouse is offering 20 percent off all to-go orders, and dads dining in can enjoy $2 beer or wine with the purchase of an entrée.

Stop by one of Thirsty Lion’s four Valley locations on Sunday, June 20, for a free 16-oz. draft for Pops. To receive the free beer, dads must sign up for Thirsty Lion’s free loyalty program.

Chin Up Donuts will be doing its Father’s Day letter doughnuts, available to order. Pricing will be $3 per doughnut; the BEST DAD EVER set is $33. Also, Chin Up Donuts will have a Dad’s Day Kit, featuring “#1 DAD” doughnut letters, a bag of their house-roasted coffee, a mug and a $5 gift card, all for $40. All orders need to be placed 48 hours prior to pick up.

Fired Pie is selling par-baked take ‘n bake pizzas at all 20 locations. Guests can order any two of Fired Pie’s signature Pizza Creations for $16; throw them on the grill to bake to perfection. Angry Crab Shack is celebrating dads with all-day happy hour beers and mules, available on Sunday, June 20.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is offering a Father’s Day Celebration meal for $40, available June 18 to June 20, which includes an 18-in. traditional cheese pizza, large Caesar or house salad and a special bottle of Tribute Cabernet Sauvignon with your choice of custom label. Choose between “Happy Father’s Day June 20, 2021” or “Dad, I love you more than pizza and that’s saying a lot!”

Ghetto Yo Pizza is offering several deals for Father’s Day weekend available Friday, June, 18 to Sunday, June 20, including buy one pizza and dads get a beer for $1 (dine-in) and buy one pizza and get a second pizza for free (dine-in or carry out).

Humble Pie and Humble Bistro are celebrating Father’s Day with a special of $25 for a bottle of Cabernet and the Gentleman’s Pizza, available all-day on Sunday, June 20. The pizza features Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, sauteed leeks, spicy honey, toasted thyme and chili oil drizzle.

Rusconi’s American Kitchen celebrates dad for three full days with an exclusive three-course prix-fixe menu available Friday, June 18, through Sunday, June 20, for $55 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Options include onion soup, dark chocolate bread budding, pecan wood-grilled prime flatiron steak and much more.

The Mission

The Mission will be offering its famed Sonoran-style Kobe dog plus an ice-cold can of Tecate for $15 (normally $18 just for the dog). Brimming with all the fixings on a brioche bun, it will be offered at both The Mission Old Town and Kierland Commons on Sunday, June 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for dine-in only.

In addition to a hearty selection of family packs, Miracle Mile Deli offers a gift card special. Now through June 20, buy $100 in gift cards and choose a bonus gift card free from the board. The bonus gift card could be valued from $20 to $100.

Swing by Eat Up Drive In in Phoenix on Father’s Day, and Dad can get a free cookie. Eat Up Drive In is kid friendly and specializes in family meals.

Join Maple & Ash for brunch (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) or dinner (5 to 9 p.m.), featuring a Gentleman’s Jack whiskey cart and Old Fashioned cocktails to-go. The dinner feature is bone-in short rib.

Wildflower will be offering two chocolate chip cookies for every order on Father’s Day, while supplies last. 

Dads can crack a cold one while showing off their gaming skills at Dave & Buster’s in Tempe Marketplace. Beer buckets will be available for just $21.96 all day long. 

Father’s Day brunch at Octane Raceway features thick-cut applewood bacon, pork sausage links, potatoes O’Brien, pearl sugar Belgium waffles, fresh fruit and scrambled eggs. Reservations are recommended. $20 per person for ages 10-plus; $6 for ages 4 to 9; free for kids under 3. For dads looking for an adrenaline rush, there are even brunch packages including go-kart racing and virtual reality.
