From yule logs to a seasonal cannoli (gingerbread cream!) to holiday cookie boxes, The Sicilian Baker is making the holiday season much sweeter with its festive dessert lineup. Holiday desserts may be pre-ordered from Dec. 17 through Dec. 23 and picked up on Dec. 24.
Rusconi’s American Kitchen in Phoenix invites guests to dine like family with a celebratory three-course menu available exclusively on Christmas Eve at 5 p.m. Course options include lobster bisque, rack of lamb, sea bass, pumpkin cheesecake and much more.
EAT by Stacey Weber is offering two ready-to-serve, family-sized holiday menus (Southwest Menu with a main entree of tamales and enchiladas and Traditional Holiday Menu with tenderloin and prawns) that feed four and include all the spices and staples of the season. EAT also offers items that are gluten-free and dairy-free. Pre-orders will be available through Dec. 20 until noon and will be ready for pick up on Dec. 24. until 4 p.m. EAT’s regular order-ahead menu is also available.
Through Dec. 6, Miracle Mile Deli in Phoenix dishes up everything from individual entrees to complete family spreads (that feed six!) for your Hanukkah celebrations. Desserts, like pies, cheesecake and bread pudding, are also up for grabs to round out your holiday feast. For Christmas dining, Miracle Mile Deli’s family meals can include oven-roasted turkey or brisket, along with a variety of sides and a pie. Orders must be placed by De. 22 for pick-up Dec. 24.
From 5 to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve and 2 to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day, Prado at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia offers festive and delicious holiday dining. To complement your dining experience, enjoy festive holiday music.
On Dec. 24, Phoenix City Grille invites guests to celebrate Christmas Eve with festive specials, including clam chowder, beef tenderloin Oscar and pan-seared grouper. Available exclusively on Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy the dishes in addition to the restaurant’s regular menu.
Gabriella’s Contemporary American Cuisine in Scottsdale rings in Christmas Eve with a specialty holiday feast (with a main course of prime rib, maple-glazed salmon or artichoke-wild mushroom risotto), available for dine-in and take out. Seating takes place from 2 to 7 p.m.; the Christmas Eve meal is available to-go for $225 (serves four), with pick-up after 1 p.m. Call 480.534.7625 to place a pre-order or make a reservation.
Salt and Lime Modern Mexican Grill transforms into the family-friendly Feliz Navidad Cantina, a Christmas pop-up concept, this holiday season. Feliz Navidad Cantina features top-to-bottom decor, a festive menu, weekly appearances from Santa and the Grinch, classic holiday movies and daily specials. The pop-up will run through early January. PS: Kids (12 years and under) can enjoy a free meal on Mondays with the purchase of an adult entrée and take photos with the Grinch or on Santa’s sleigh. The Scottsdale restaurant is also partnering with Maag Toy Foundation for a special holiday toy drive on site.
The Italian Daughter is celebrating a festive Christmas Eve tradition, Feast of the Seven Fishes, by serving courses featuring seafood on La Vigilia including lobster bisque, baccala fritters and clams oreganata for starters. The Italian Daughter will also offer specialty seafood entrees including seven fishes cioppino, jumbo shrimp francese and lobster ravioli and lobster and crab fra diavolo. The Scottsdale restaurant will open on Christmas Eve at 1 p.m. and close at 9 p.m.
Tomaso’s in Phoenix is offering decadent holiday pasta dishes on Christmas Eve and Day, including butternut squash ravioli, King crab and Alaskan halibut pasta and seafood medley cioppino. To complete any holiday lunch or dinner, specialties include lemon prawns, veal chop Saltimbocca and lamb osso bucco. Tomaso’s dining room will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tarbell’s has prepared to-go Christmas meals for $125 per person that includes one entree, a plethora of sides and a choice of two desserts. Entree options include prime rib, Arizona honey-glazed ham and a roasted organic salmon with crusted pecan and maple glaze while the dessert options included in the takeout package are chocolate peppermint mousse, Emma’s Buche de noel and double chocolate chip cookies. The last day to place an order is Dec. 17 and catered orders may be picked up at Tarbell’s on Christmas Eve.
The Boulders Resort offers both dine-in and to-go Christmas dinners. Palo Verde Restaurant hosts Christmas dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. while the Grill Kitchen & Bar is dishing up holiday favorites from noon to 7 p.m. Or diners can order a meal for four to-go, with apps, sides, soup, a main course and dessert. Pork on a Fork’s to-go Christmas feasts feature an array of slow-smoked favorites and all the fixings including whole smoked turkey, stuffing, cheesy mashed potatoes, dinner rolls and more. This package feeds approximately 10 to 12 people and cost is $199, plus tax. A la carte items are also available for preorder. Guests may request ham and turkey be served hot or cold; sides are served cold. Reheating instructions are included. Preorders must be received by Dec. 19. Pickups are available at the Phoenix location on Dec. 24 at 3 p.m.
Made by hand, the mouthwatering tamales from Los Sombreros come in six different flavors and are available for pickup at its Scottsdale and Mesa locations. Flavors (like green corn, tomatillo chicken, carnitas, pineapple and more) are available by the dozen, and guests can order half and half with their two favorite flavors or the Christmas Dozen, which includes two of each flavor. On Friday, Dec. 17, Mix Up Bar + Lounge at Royal Palms Resort is hosting a special Kris Kringle & Cocoa event from 3 to 7 p.m. with complimentary hot cocoa and a chance to meet Santa. Enjoy live entertainment until 10 p.m. and dig into seasonal eats and cocktails. For Christmas, Royal Palms Resort is offering diners two delectable options to celebrate, including the annual Christmas Brunch buffet, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 25, and a four-course prix-fix dinner at T. Cook’s from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 1 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 25.
A four-course, prix-fixe dinner at elements at Sanctuary on Camelback on Dec. 25 will feature indulgent eats like escargot pot pie, lobster risotto, Two Wash Farms roasted guinea hen, eggnog cheesecake and much more. The Christmas Day dinner at elements will be served from noon to 8 p.m. and is priced at $150 per person for adults and $55 for children under 12 years old, plus tax and gratuity.
On Christmas Eve, from 4:30 to 9 p.m., and Christmas Day, from 2 to 8 p.m., indulge in a festive special at Maple & Ash in Scottsdale. The 32-oz. bone-in chateaubriand serves two for $250 and is perfect to pair with the restaurant’s tasty holiday cocktails, available through month’s end.
Throughout the month of December, Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails at The Hotel Palomar in Downtown Phoenix celebrates the season with the Blue Blitzen Holiday Pop-Up Bar (which will serve of plenty of festive eats and over-the-top Christmas cocktails) and outdoor patio snow globes. The al fresco snow globes are available for up to six people and include blankets, holiday records and gorgeous views. The private snow globe experience includes two hours of food and beverage from Blue Hound’s holiday menu, games and more. A $150 food and beverage minimum is required for booking. Plus, Blue Hound offers a specialty three-course menu on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The menu features mustard-crusted grass-fed beef tri tip, cauliflower and chestnut soup and peppermint bark cheesecake, along with other festive holiday choices.
Keeler’s Neighborhood Steakhouse invites guests to enjoy a special three-course menu on Friday, Dec. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. Options include a 10-oz. slow-roasted prime rib and tiger prawns, rack of lamb and Chilean sea bass.
The team at Terra Tempe Kitchen & Spirits will deliver a specially curated, prix-fixe feast on Christmas Day.
Located on the ground-floor of The Westin Tempe, Terra Tempe’s limited-time menu will be available for dine-in guests and will feature traditional holiday favorites with a flavorful twist, including Latin-spiced lamb with goat cheese whipped potato, roasted tomatoes and truffle chimichurri, and brown butter- and pecan-crusted Chilean sea bass with oven-roasted baby zucchini, heirloom beans and sweet corn puree.
A portion of the restaurant’s proceeds will be allocated to provide complimentary meals to local Tempe fire and police stations on Christmas Day, on behalf of the entire team at The Westin Tempe.
This Christmas, dine at home or at STK with its Christmas specials featuring roasted prime rib with confit fingerling potatoes, green beans, port wine shallots and black truffle madera sauce, available for dine-in or takeout Dec. 24 to Dec. 26. When you dine-in on Christmas Day, you can also enjoy an all-day dinner menu and three brunch specials. When you takeout, get the roasted prime rib for two for $139 (each additional serving is $70). Pickup times are Dec. 24 to Dec. 26 every half hour from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
