With a mission of redefining your average corner store, co-founders of Upward Projects, Craig and Kris Demarco, and retail gurus of Bro Retail Group, Eric and Elissa Seitz, have broken ground with their newest project, Air Guitar.
Air Guitar will pair healthy, ready-made items with premium beer, wine, coffee and tea. Air Guitar promises to serve as a quick and easy welcome to an electric new mixed-use experience, right next to EpicCenter at Agritopia in Gilbert.
The building, designed by Jack Debartolo III, stands with an airy 5,000-sq.-ft. interior, with a floating 9,000-sq.-ft. roof canopy above. Dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass walls are artfully protected from the sun as this desert-sensitive yet highly technical building is designed for rapid arrival, efficient flow, self-service and high-convenience. “The timeless yet timely building offers generous exterior seating in a park-like setting featuring 60-plus trees, making the corner of this important intersection feel more like a park than a new building,” says DeBartolo, in the press release.
