Anoche Cantina, a new restaurant and nightlife concept from Ascend Hospitality Group (AHG), is opening this August on Mill Avenue in Tempe. The modern cantina takes over the space formerly housed by El Hefe.
Anoche Cantina (anoche meaning “last night” in Spanish) will dish up an innovative Latin-inspired food and beverage program, separated into “loco” and “classico” categories. Among the new restaurant’s Instagram-friendly moments is its interactive build-your-own margarita bar.
“We’ve had our eye on Tempe for a while and when the opportunity arose for us to take prime real estate on Mill Ave., we jumped at the chance,” says CEO and President Elaina M. Morris of AHG, a Black- and female-led, independent restaurant group based in Bellevue, WA. “We couldn’t be more excited to bring, what we call, the ‘AHG Difference’ to the Valley and join such a thriving community.”
Anoche Cantina offers 5,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor dining space, including a shaded patio adorned with booths. Come evening, the sexy dining atmosphere invites patrons to party the night away with a top-tier bottle service program. The elevated nightlife experience is rounded out by top-of-the-line sound and lighting for the ultimate party-going vibe.
Come September, the sports bar and nightlife concept six40rty will open next door to Anoche Cantina. The 10,000-sq.-ft. space will spotlight a large patio with TV’s, lawn games, elevated bar snacks and witty cocktails.
