From weeklong dining specials and to-go margaritas to multi-day tequila- and taco-fueled parties, Phoenix is brimming with Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
The Mexicano
The Mexicano celebrates its first Cinco de Mayo with a three-day event in the restaurant’s parking lot starting on Thursday, May 5, and ending on Saturday, May 7. This celebration will feature tacos, burritos, churros, gelato, margaritas at the Don Julio booth and beer at the Modelo booth. Guests will be given food, drink and game tickets upon purchase of admission to use at the Cinco de Mayo Festival. If waiting to be seated at the restaurant, guests are encouraged to join in on the fun at the outside event. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Childhelp.
Spotted Donkey Cantina
Spotted Donkey Cantina invites guests to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with fun, food and live entertainment in the el Pedregal outdoor courtyard from 4 to 8 p.m. Festivities include mariachi music, authentic eats, tequila and sangria tastings and more.
SOL Mexican Cocina
The Baja-inspired restaurant in Scottsdale will feature live music and an exclusive menu just for Cinco de Mayo, available for dine-in only from 3 p.m. to close. (To-go orders can be placed over the phone; online ordering will not be available during the day.)

CRUjiente Tacos
Enjoy happy hour on Cinco de Mayo from 4 to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close and toast to the holiday with the restaurant’s famous Premier CRU Margaritas for $8 (all day!) and Modelo and Tecate beer for $3.50, along with $1 off all CRUjiente’s crunchy tacos. Plus, CRU will also be hosting a special with a dollar off all other margaritas, cocktails, beer and wine.
Macayo’s Mexican Food
Macayo’s is hosting a five-day “Cinco de Macayo” fiesta featuring entertainment, food and drink specials, giveaways and more, starting May 1. From Sunday, May 1, through Thursday, May 5, diners can also enjoy food and beverage specials, like $8 Cinco margaritas. On Cinco de Mayo itself, all locations will feature a DJ from 4 to 8 p.m.
Luckys Indoor Outdoor
Luckys Indoor Outdoor brings the fiesta to Roosevelt Row this Cinco de Mayo with live music on the patio, tasty eats and drink specials. The bar will be serving up $8 specialty margaritas, $6 house margaritas and $6 Modelo from 4 to 7 p.m. while party-goers savor arepas from MozzArepas in the food trailer. This event is free to attend and open to those 21 and over.
Kähvi Coffee + Cafe
At Kähvi Coffee + Cafe this Cinco de Mayo, buy one Tulum Rush or Marrita cocktail and get the other for a penny between 3 and 6 p.m. For coffee enthusiasts, the cafe will be serving up a Dirty Horchata Latte topped with cinnamon as the specialty drink for the month.
Someburros
Someburros’ 5 Days of Cinco de Mayo celebration include specials starting on Sunday, May 1 ($5 off Fiesta Platters) and ending Thursday, May 5 ($2 off all margaritas).
K-38 Beach Mex Cantina
K-38 Beach Mex Cantina in Chandler will be partnering with Modelo and doing a 5-on-5 special including $5 Modelo pints, $5 Modelo Micheladas, $5 house margaritas, $25 Modelo buckets and $5 for select food items.

Fox Restaurant Concepts
Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Fox Restaurant Concepts announced the launch of brand-new, to-go cocktail offerings now available at select Blanco Cocina + Cantina (The Borgata) and Doughbird locations. For $18, guests will have their choice of one bottle of the Perfect Margarita, Spicy Skinny Margarita or Blackberry Elderflower Sangria at Blanco or Little Bird Sangria, Raven & Geary Margarita or The Local at Doughbird.
Skysill Rooftop Lounge
This Cinco de Mayo, celebrate at Skysill Rooftop Lounge, the open-air rooftop bar atop The Westin Tempe hotel, from 3 to 8 p.m.. Guests will enjoy limited-time holiday specials including smoked pork carnitas street tacos, beer-marinated chicken fajitas and smoked elote alongside a selection of tequila- and mezcal-based cocktails. Skysill will also host live music and two piñata giveaways, where two lucky winners will have the opportunity to take home a piñata filled with candy and one $50 Skysill gift card each.
Z’Tejas Southwest Grill
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Z’Tejas with $5 house margaritas all day, frozen or on the rocks. Guests will also enjoy helping bash the prize-filled pinatas and live music.

Pedal Haus Brewery offers festive drink deals including $7 house margaritas, $7 Marg Garten (a mix of the house margarita and Pedal Haus sourgarten beer), $5 Pedal Haus Mexican Amber beers and $5 Micheladas for the holiday.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with SugarJam The Southern Kitchen, where you can enjoy a delicious brunch and $5 margaritas from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SugarJam’s selection of margaritas include Strawberry-Margarita Mimosa, Mango-Jalapeno Margarita, Coco-Pina Margarita and Strawberry Margarita.
32 Shea
32 Shea will dish up $5 hand-crafted margaritas and, for $12.99, a nacho plate with choice of chicken or chorizo or a Mexican margarita lavash.

Urban Margarita is raising a class in celebration of Cinco de Mayo with food and drink specials on Thursday, May 5. All day long, guests can enjoy $2 street tacos with chicken, carnitas or steak, and $5 house margaritas.
Thirsty Lion Gastropub
Thirsty Lion Gastropub (with four Valley locations) will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with specialty drinks and food all day long (like creamy queso dip, Baja fish tacos and jalapeno Pepper Jack burger) in addition to its happy hour-priced margarita for only $7.95.
Red, White, & Brew
Red, White, & Brew will offers a drink feature of prickly pear margaritas as well as specials on shrimp tacos, chicken tinga tosada, chicken pozole verde soup and more.
Rusty Spur Saloon
Scottsdale’s Rusty Spur Saloon dishes up lunch specials of tamales, pork green chili and nachos until 4 p.m., as well as margaritas until close and live music to fill the atmosphere.

Heritage at Sportsman’s Park
The new premier venue on the Great Lawn adjacent to State Farm Stadium in Glendale is celebrating Cinco de Mayo from 5 to 9 p.m. Attendees will enjoy $2 tacos and $3 margaritas all while enjoying live music.
Salt and Lime Modern Mexican Grill
Salt and Lime Modern Mexican Grill is celebrating its eighth anniversary just in time for Cinco de Mayo. The Cinco de Mayo pop-up includes an archway lined with colorful pinatas, and the party will extend to the patio and parking lot with an extension complete with open-air tented bars and tables, live music and even a Selena impersonator.
Los Sombreros
Los Sombreros hosts festive Cinco de Mayo fiestas with DJs and taco bars at its three Valley locations in Uptown Phoenix, Scottsdale and Mesa. Guests can enjoy curated specials from Los Sombreros’ Oaxacan-inspired menu, plus $5 specials on tacos, Mexican beers and margaritas. The party will start at 11 a.m. with seating indoors and outside on spacious shaded patios.

Recreo, newly opened in Chandler, celebrates Cinco de Mayo with five items for $5, including ceviche, margaritas, Modelos and more. There will also be a DJ there to bring music to this party.

The Maple & Ash Tequila Cart will be on the floor all night for a tableside tequila experience, serving Don Julio 1942, Clase Azul, El Tesoro and Cincoro, just to name a few, on Cinco de Mayo. The restaurant will also whip up an elevated Don Julio Margarita for the occasion.

Newly opened etta in Scottsdale will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Patrón. The signature Porrón & a Polaroid experience will turn into Patrón Porrón & a Polaroid just for the day. The restaurant will also be offering an exclusive baller frozen Patrón “etta” rita for the holiday.
