Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers Downtown, a Square One Concepts destination, is now open at Chase Field in Phoenix, home to our beloved Arizona Diamondbacks. The new location marks a unique culinary destination for sports fans, providing the perfect grub for game day and beyond.
After a successful grand opening in early September, Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers Downtown is Downtown Phoenix’s newest neighborhood burger joint. The new spot, located on the Chase Field Diamond Level and patio, is suspended just above the playing field, offering unbeatable views of the game and ballpark.
“Thank you to the Arizona Diamondbacks for guiding us through the excitement as our doors open in Chase Field,” says S. Barrett Rinzler, founder and CEO of Square One Concepts, in a press release. “We’re ready to welcome downtown neighborhood residents, the downtown business community and, of course, baseball and all sports fans to enjoy this outstanding location.”
The new space is 12,000 square feet and features 50 flatscreens to help you catch the game, a multi-level dining experience and the infamous Front Row neon sign struck by St. Louis Cardinal slugger Mark McGwire in 1998.
Guests who visit Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers Downtown will be pleased to know their menu favorites will still be available, in addition to new menu items created by Chef Robert Wagner. A new favorite burger, The Big Unit Burger, was inspired by none other than acclaimed D-backs Hall of Famer Randy Johnson. This burger will only be available at this Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers location and is handcrafted with pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayo, greens, onion, grilled tomato and full-sized grilled cheese buns.
Square One Concepts has more in the works, too, at Chase Field; come 2023, it will open its second B&B Cocktail Lounge at the ballpark.
