Collins Bros. Chophouse Opens in Scottsdale

Common Ground Culinary, the Valley hospitality group behind Grassroots Kitchen & Tap, Wally’s American Gastropub, Sweet Provisions and more, has welcomed its newest restaurant, Collins Bros. Chophouse, to The Village at Hayden in Scottsdale.

Collins Bros. Chophouse is now open for lunch and dinner, dine-in or to-go, on the northwest corner of Hayden Road and Via De Ventura inside The Village at Hayden. The new restaurant replaces Common Ground Culinary’s Twisted Grove and will dish up a few of the previous restaurant’s beloved menu staples.

“Twisted Grove was the second concept we created. As we’ve grown, we realized that instead of adding a new concept and saturating the restaurant group, we wanted to evolve Twisted Grove into the approachable chophouse this neighborhood deserves,” says restauranteur Christopher Collins, in a press release.

Collins Bros. Chophouse serves the highest quality cuts of meat, fresh seafood and the finest ingredients in a polished chophouse setting (with dark wood tables, leather booths and exposed brick walls) and on the private patio, accented with a brick fireplace. The restaurant features happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. with a selection of craft cocktails, wines by the glass and bites to share like short rib and goat cheese potato croquettes, broiled oysters and chicken wings. Plus, diners can take advantage of the Two Buck Shuck deal–fresh shucked oysters are only $2.

In celebration of the grand opening, Collins Bros. Chophouse is offering half off bottles of wine during the entire month of July. To learn more, visit www.collinsbrosaz.com.
