Following several months of temporary closures, Downtown Phoenix favorites Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour and Little Rituals have reopened—now with strict safety protocols to complement their redesigned cocktail and food menus.
Both spaces have reputations for being two of Arizona’s most awarded lounges, located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix. With the uncertainty brought on by COVID-19, these nationally-noted destination lounges have been temporarily closed to guests since early March.
Behind the scenes though, the teams have been working to launch a “COVID comeback,” which includes additional safety measures like limited socially-distanced seating, requirements of reservations and face masks for all guests, and digital menus which can be accessed on phone or tablet devices via a tableside QR code.
While the teams have revised their food offerings to ensure the safety of guests and staff, they still offer menu mainstays, like Bitter & Twisted’s Hurricane Popcorn—made with butter, garlic, furikake, shichimi and spicy rice crackers—and the green chili mac—a house green chili macaroni with a three-cheese sauce. As for drinks, we recommend the Pornstar Cocktail, among others.
At Little Rituals, guests can enjoy the famous Disco Fries—made with brisket, pickled chilies, and pho gravy, among other ingredients—or the “Pho” French Dip—made with brisket, Vietnamese bone broth, and thai basil on a bolillo bun. The Siroco Spritz—made with Fonseca Siroco “Aperitif” prosecco, sparkling water, and cucumber—is a refreshing cocktail option, along with their Flat Earth Theory drink, made with Napoleon Bas Armagnac, Dolin Dry Vermouth, Napa Valley verjus, Ardbeg, fennel & lemon, and pickled grape.
Little Rituals is now open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m.. And Bitter & Twisted’s soaring ground floor space inside the Luhrs City Center is now open for dine-in service Tuesday through Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4 to 11 p.m..
