Fellow Osteria is welcoming the glorious late-spring weather with the launch of a new Sunday Brunch, perfect for enjoying on its beautiful tree-lined patio. Already a Scottsdale favorite for its delectable pastas and pizzas, the Italian restaurant’s new brunch menu is served Sundays, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The most important meal of the week to many (what other time is it acceptable to have cocktails and dessert alongside egg dishes?), Fellow Osteria welcomes its diverse and delicious Sunday Brunch. True to its style, all brunch dishes – whether sweet or savory – are served with Italian flair. And the best spot to savor the new dishes is the restaurant’s sleek, covered patio. The trees that line its perimeter make it feel like an intimate, quiet hideaway, even though Scottsdale Road is just a few yards away.
The chocolate-cherry zeppole are similar to doughnut holes, served with a strawberry compote for dunking. This sweet treat will be a table favorite, perfect for kicking off brunch or as a dessert (if you can wait that long). The ricotta pancakes, also served with the strawberry compote, and parfait with chocolate-hazelnut biscotti crumbles also provide sweetness to the brunch spread.
As the pizzas are the star of its lunch and dinner menus, it makes sense that Fellow Osteria’s breakfast pizza is also a big hit. Rich and cheesy, the pizza is topped with sausage, paper-thin slivers of potato, a sprinkling of chives, and a pair of perfectly placed eggs. The breakfast sandwich is another hearty choice, featuring a buttermilk bun topped with a chili crisp-fried egg, bacon, provolone, heirloom tomato, avocado, and mayo.
A variety of scrambles, steak and eggs, and a picture-perfect avocado toast round out the Sunday Brunch menu. A range of a.m.-friendly cocktails and delicious coffee drinks are also available, and wine bottles are half-off all day on Sunday – providing yet another reason to toast with friends over a slice of breakfast pizza and sweet zeppole.
