It’s a brand new year and the perfect timing for the “eat more veggies” message Flower Child is sending to Chandler. The healthy, fast-casual restaurant opened a new location at The Shoppes at Casa Paloma, the sixth in Arizona.
Located off the I-10 and Ray Road, the local eatery from Fox Restaurant Concepts offers a selection of salads, bowls, entrees, wraps – nearly all of which are gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan-friendly. Diners can also find lemonades, kombuchas, organic wine, gluten-free beer and tasty gluten-free desserts to round out their meal.
One of the best things about Flower Child Chandler is the easy access to good quality meals, quickly. The menu features the fast-casual eatery’s adored staples like the Mother Earth Bowl with ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushroom, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, charred onion, leafy greens, red pepper-miso vinaigrette and hemp seed. Another fan favorite is the Bird is the Word wrap with grilled chicken, poblano peppers, broccoli, peppadew, melted pepper jack cheese and charred onion (a gluten-free wrap is available).
The newly opened Flower Child Chandler features seasonal dishes as well. This winter, guests will find the spaghetti squash and zucchini Bolognese with wild mushroom, red lentil, organic tomato, burrata, basil and parmesan. The butternut squash risotto with cauliflower rice, maple-coconut cream and toasted breadcrumbs is another seasonal standout not to be missed.
Exclusive to the Arizona Flower Child locations, Phoenix Sun fans can eat like famed power forward Cam Johnson by ordering his signature Cam’s Power Meal, comprising wild salmon, gluten-free mac and cheese and roasted broccoli. For each meal purchased throughout the NBA season, guests are entered into a monthly drawing for a chance to win a No. 23 jersey autographed by Johnson.
