Genuine Concepts Welcomes Chef Jeremy Pacheco

Genuine Concepts, the restaurant group behind The Vig, The Little Woody, The Womack, Ladera Taverna y Cocina and The McMillan, has welcomed Chef Jeremy Pacheco as its new culinary director.

Chef Pacheco, a ninth-generation Arizonan formerly of LON’s at the Hermosa, brings more than 26 years of experience in the restaurant business to the brand. He will oversee all brands and menus, evolving these neighborhood restaurants into culinary destinations.

“The opportunity to join one of Arizona’s top-tier restaurant groups is a dream for me,” says Pacheco, in a press release. “The foundation that Tucker Woodbury and Jim Riley have built over the years is nothing short of remarkable, and I look forward to bringing my talents and creativity to some of the most beloved neighborhood kitchens in the Valley.”

Genuine Concepts supports local purveyors when possible, including Valley vendors Noble Bread, Sonoran Pasta Co. and Rovey Dairy. Genuine Concepts also has local wine and beer on its menus, to further support Valley product.
