Phoenix Pride Month Cocktails

These Valley hotpots are shaking up refreshing rainbow-hued cocktails for sipping and supporting Pride Month this June.

Santé

Santé’s Watermelon Mambo is a colorful tipple crafted with fresh watermelon juice, cucumber-infused vodka and a beautiful garnish to top it off. A portion of the sales of Watermelon Mambo will be donated to The Trevor Project, which is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ youth.

Foch Café

LGBTQ+-owned Foch Café in Downtown Tempe is celebrating Pride Month with rainbow shots made with Skittles-infused vodka for $12 each (pictured). Foch offers a full menu to dine-in guests as well as a grab-and-go section with hot and cold items, freshly baked pastries and a coffee bar.

Pride Punch

Morning Squeeze

Morning Squeeze shares its support of the LBGQT community with its Pride Punch–perfect for June brunching! The refreshing rum cocktail includes peach schnapps, pineapple and lemon juice and a melon liqueur. The colorful concoction comes garnished with a candy rainbow ribbon. The breakfast and lunch spot also serves up a specialty stuffed French toast with layers of cream filling between two slices of the restaurant’s original French toast with a rainbow-hued garnish. Morning Squeeze has locations in Old Town Scottsdale, Tempe and Phoenix.

Brightside Studios

Phoenix’s Brightside Studios is celebrating with a special Pride Paint & Sip course on June 11. During the event, locals can paint a Pride flag, taught by art instructor Bee Brown, and enjoy The Valley cocktail, a mix of vodka, strawberry lemonade, muddled fresh strawberries and butterfly pea tea topped with a fresh strawberry and blackberry garnish. Tickets are $39.99 per person for the course, taking place from 6 to 8 p.m. (Tickets include one free alcoholic beverage from the bar.)
