Ahipoki Bowl is a new fast-casual restaurant in South Scottsdale serving up build-your-own ahi poke seafood bowls.
A unique concept for us desert dwellers, Ahipoki Bowl is already seeing lots of love in the first few weeks of being open.
If you’ve never heard of poke before, it is “a raw fish Hawaiian tradition featuring ahi tuna, salmon, yellowtail and other sushi grade fish options on top of rice or salad and topped with healthy, exotic toppings.”
In an assembly-line style fashion, diners pick and choose the ingredients they want in their bowls. You start by selecting your base – white rice, brown rice or salad. Protein options include tuna, spicy tuna, yellowtail, salmon, albacore, scallop, shrimp or octopus. Then choose a sauce and toppings, which include ginger, jicama, wasabi, cucumber and more.
Not only is the food fresh and delicious, but the dining room is large and bright with some nice decor elements such as the light fixtures and wall art.
