Restaurant of the Week: Daily Dose Rio Salado

With locations in Midtown Phoenix, Old Town Scottsdale and now Tempe, Daily Dose is a locally-owned casual dining eatery that’s known for serving up splurge-worthy, flavorful brunch and lunch favorites.

Daily Dose’s cheery new restaurant space in Tempe features its famous orange accent colors with vibrant copper lighting and a pop of greenery that complements the wood and iron accents, completing a rustic feel that is bright and airy–the feeling Daily Dose is known for.

Committed to providing fresh food with no shortcuts, the popular eatery is adored for its made-from-scratch breakfast nachos, eggs benedict, banana bread French toast and decadent cinnamon roll pancakes, rounded out with cinnamon-filled buttermilk batter and vanilla icing. While there are plenty of indulgences, healthy alternatives like the delicious egg-white wrap–loaded with vegetables and served with fruit–are delightful favorites among guests.

Beyond food, craft beer lovers will appreciate the assortment of brews on tap. Specialty cocktails like the spicy watermelon margarita–with Tanteo jalapeño tequila, fresh watermelon, fresh lime juice and agave nectar–provide a boozy boost of freshness, along with the fun menu of spiked coffees and Bloody Marys.

All three locations feature the same menu, serving breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at the Old Town and Midtown locations and the Tempe location Wednesday through Sunday. For more information on Daily Dose, visit www.dailydosegrill.com.
