Restaurant of the Week: Everbowl

Everbowl—the healthy, superfood-based restaurant that specializes in ready-to-eat protein and acai bowls—is now bringing the tastes of Southern California to the Valley with its latest CityScape location.

CityScape is, in many ways, the heart of Downtown Phoenix and its ever-evolving nightlife scene. With boutique shops, lively restaurant concepts and eclectic treat options all within a condensed area, CityScape is truly a can’t-miss destination for both locals and tourists alike.

And with the addition of Everbowl, the outdoor center is continuing to expand its appeal.

Everbowl is a popular Southern California-based shop that offers build-your-own craft acai bowls and smoothies, complete with an unlimited fresh fruit and toppings bar. The restaurant franchise has close to 30 locations all across the greater Southwest in California, Arizona and Utah.

The CityScape location, which opened in January, boasts a cozy, airy ambience that’s accented with floor-to-ceiling windows, clean tones of brown and white hues, and golden natural light which seamlessly drenches the compact—yet surprisingly quaint—space.

A quick visit into Everbowl and you’ll quickly feel like you’ve been transported to a casual, beachside smoothie shack. And for as much as the fresh, open-space concept delivers in its interior character, it’s the handcrafted bowls and smooth fruit treats on Everbowl’s menu that are truly spectacular.

The craft-your-own bowl is built on a superfood base, which includes flavors like acai, chia pudding, matcha, vanilla, coconut, overnight oats, peanut butter, pitaya and blue majik algae. From there, visitors can indulge in an endless assortment of toppings like granola, raw cacao, goji berries, dried mango and almonds, among others. And finally, they can then top off their made-from-scratch bowl with a generous drizzle of rich ingredients like almond butter or honey.

Everbowl is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, visit www.everbowl.com.
