Restaurant of the Week: Hopdoddy

Hopdoddy Burger Bar is an Austin-born burger and beer restaurant that is known for the quality of food they serve. With two locations in the Valley, they are a fan favorite in Phoenix and Scottsdale for their juicy burgers and hand-cut fries.

Hopdoddy is nationally-recognized for their food and has been named one of the “The Best Burgers in America” by Food & Wine, garnered the #1 spot two years in a row on Business Insider’s list of “The 50 best burger joints in America” and named one of the “10 Brands to Watch” by CNBC and MSN.

Hopdoddy grinds their meats in-house daily and offers a wide variety of the freshest available, all-natural proteins like Angus beef, chicken and sushi-grade tuna that are stacked between freshly baked buns. Alongside its burgers, Hopdoddy serves hand-cut Kennebec fries, farm fresh salads, and handcrafted milkshakes.

Hopdoddy also carries an array of local craft beers on tap, can and bottle as well as a full bar featuring regional spirits, house-made liqueurs and freshly squeezed juices.

A popular burger on their menu is the Goodnight/Good Cause Burger made with cheddar, jalapeños, caramelized onions, BBQ, Doddy mayo, lettuce and tomato. Not only is it delicious, but a portion of the proceeds benefits Phoenix Children’s Hospital. It is a win-win!

Hopdoddy also caters to those who do not eat meat with their Ahi Tuna Burger, Southwest Veggie Burger and our personal favorite – The Impossible Burger. They also offer a vegan cheese. If you do not eat gluten, you can also choose a lettuce bun or their gluten free burger bun.

A few other “must-try” recommendations from us are the new Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders, Parmesan Truffle Fries and Strawberry Milkshake.
