Restaurant of the Week: Local Bistro

Local Bistro, located in North Scottsdale, serves favorite Italian classics, from wood-fired pizzas to house-made pasta, prepared with a modern twist.

An upscale, yet casual dining experience, Local Bistro has bar seating with TV’s, indoor dining with a beautiful wine cellar on display and a large outdoor patio.


Local Bistro’s chef-crafted, seasonal menus offer classic favorites as well as innovative dishes made with the freshest ingredients of the highest quality. The menu features hand-made pasta, wood-fired pizzas, fresh-caught seafood, hand-selected steaks and crisp salads.

For starters, some of our favorites include the crispy brussels sprouts, the Drunk Bread, made with crusty bread, Swiss fondue and white wine, and tuna tartare.


For your main course, there are four wood-fired pizza options, with a gluten-free crust available upon request. We highly recommend including a pasta dish in your meal. The short rib tagliatelle is made with 24-hour braised short rib that melts in your mouth. For entrees, the sautéed chicken and artichokes is one of the most popular dishes, made with butter whipped potatoes, wild mushrooms, lemon beurre blanc, crispy prosciutto, capers and pine nuts.
