Mill Avenue just got more appealing with the reopening and newly remodeled Pedal Haus Brewery. The improved space and menu consisting of new starters, salads, flatbreads, and gastropub entrees created by Executive Chef Dennis Martinez, has all the makings for a prime hangout spot.
The menu has something to offer for every palate. To start we had Chicken Chili Verde, which was perfect for the cool night with a little spice. We had the honor of trying the Lobster Mac and Cheese, which takes your average mac and cheese to a whole new level. It was creamy and delicious, I couldn’t put my fork down! We then had Mussels and the Lobster Roll, which was fresh Maine lobster in between bread grilled in lobster butter and paired with fries for the perfect meal.
Since this is a brewery, there is of course an incredible beer selection. They now have an expanded brewery designed for Valley-wide beer distribution and a new line up of 14 staple and seasoned beers on tap that were created by Derek Osborne. Some examples of these beers are Barrel Aged Belgian-style Quad, Pear Saison, Pumpkin Ale, and American Heritage Lager. Their selections will have the beer drinkers lining up and the non-beer drinkers switching sides. Not only are the beers there to drink, but you can also take an educational brewery tour led by Derek Osborne and Julian Wright for parties and groups.
With the improved menu and their exquisite brewery comes new and improved space. There are private conference rooms, a pub-like lounge area, chef’s counter with an open window into the kitchen, and a beer silo with seating underneath. With the cooler weather upon us here in Arizona, they now have communal bungalows with private fire pits that each contains their own TV. They also have a 21 and over area where there are games such as corn hole, ping-pong, shuffle board and beer pong.
