The Counter is downtown Phoenix’s new hotspot for casual American dining with a “Build Your Own from The Bun up” philosophy.
Making it’s debut in Arizona, The Counter is located on Central and Adams St. in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Their mission is creative construction, flavor, and being inventive using their quality ingredients.
The Counter offers delicious starters and a variety of tasty create your own milkshakes to enjoy with your meal or after as dessert. Being a burger-focused restaurant, they do not disappoint, giving you the option to eat your burger in a bowl, bun, or however you want it. You can pick from their already crafted expert builds or custom make your own. The options are endless, including 8 meat, vegetarian, or vegan options for the burger, 16 cheese choices, 24 savory sauces, 45 fresh toppings, 8 bun choices and delicious sides to choose from such as their refreshing quinoa salad, crispy sweet potato fries or vegetable skewers.
Walking in, your will notice the sleek contemporary and rustic décor, upbeat music, and pleasing aromas. The staff is very welcoming and display excellent teamwork.
Start your meal off with some of our favorites: fried pickle chips or parmesan fries, sip on a caramel apple crumble shake or enjoy a spiked shake, then sink your teeth into a tasty custom burger made with either hormone and antibiotic free beef, house-made vegan veggie, 100% natural chicken breast, organic bison, or ahi tuna topped with endless options including herbed cheese, apricot sauce or smoky chipotle aioli, grilled pineapple, onion confit, marinated veggies, on top of a warm pretzel bun.
The Counter is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat amidst the excitement of downtown Phoenix, before or after a basketball or baseball game, concert or other event that surrounds the restaurant. It is also right off the light-rail for ease of transportation. There is a beautiful patio with a neat fire feature to relax by on a nice night.
The Counter is open daily, Monday through Saturday 11am to 9pm and Sunday 11am to 8pm.
