Restaurant of the Week: The Cowboy Club

The Cowboy Club, one of Sedona’s longtime restaurants located in the heart of the downtown area, is reopened for in-restaurant dining. This family-owned establishment originally opened in 1993, and recently underwent a complete refresh of its interior and added enhanced sanitization protocols to keep all guests safe.

The Cowboy Club is a casual dining restaurant, known for serving up exceptional angus and buffalo steaks, fresh seafood, and signature dishes including cactus fries and rattlesnake.  They also boast wonderful views of Sedona’s world renowned Red Rocks.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting The Cowboy Club, and it was hard to choose which items we wanted to try. We selected the Cowboy BBQ Plate which gave us a wonderful sampling of 12 hour smoked brisket, BBQ chicken, and melt in your mouth Baby Back Pork Ribs.

We also were feeling extra adventurous and tried the Elk Chops, 8oz chops served with Medjool date demi-glaze, sweet mashed potatoes – which tasted just like dessert – and sautéed asparagus.

To complete the meal, you could order a signature cocktail from the full bar, or indulge your sweet tooth with traditional favorites like Peach Cobbler, New York Cheesecake, or Crème Brulee.

The Cowboy Club is a must-visit during any Sedona trip and will leave you completely satisfied with the culinary experience. It also makes for a fun history stop with the traditional cowboy décor and atmosphere.
