The Market restaurant+bar is a casual, yet elegant, restaurant in Gaslight Square that incorporates locally grown, sourced, and crafted ingredients. We just love seeing local businesses supporting other local businesses!
When you walk into The Market, you immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is welcoming and the decor has been thoughtfully chosen.
They serve lunch and dinner daily, and brunch on the weekends. They really offer something for everyone. Whether you’re feeling like chips and dip, a hearty burger and fries, a kale salad or house made Gnocchi, The Market covers it all.
The Butternut Squash Bisque with white cheddar popcorn and the Posole Verde soup were both delicious. We highly recommend the Farmstead Cheese Board with some wine for a leisurely evening with a date or friends.
We didn’t actually try The Market Burger, but it looked absolutely mouthwatering from a distance. We did try the home made Ricotta Gnocchi, and we can vouch that tastes as good as it looked.
You MUST save room for cookies and milk. These are not just any cookies. They are baked to order! They are worth the wait – you may want to order this at the beginning so the server knows to get it baking while you are enjoying your entree.
