Restaurant of the Week: Vintage 95

This quaint little wine bistro, nestled in Downtown Chandler, Vintage 95 Wine Lounge is the perfect spot for a date night or drinks with friends. Located in Chandler’s first Post Office that originally opened in 1926, it was the perfect setting for a sophisticated dining experience with an extensive wine list.

Start your meal off with warm Brie, a charcuterie board, olives, empanadas or bruschetta. All perfect options for sharing. Our favorite was the warm Brie, because you can’t go wrong with cheese.

Vintage 95 has a wide and unique salad selection from spinach, cauliflower, grains, Caesar, pear and a BLT salad. The main course offerings also have something to offer everyone. From salmon, lamb, pork chop, shrimp and grits, duck or a burger, you have a choice from every type of protein. Our favorite dish was the Grilled Pork Chop served with wilted kale rice, a fried sunny side up egg and a black bean sauce. Fried eggs make everything delicious. And we loved the wilted kale rice; the rice had a sticky texture with sweetness mixing with tartness of kale perfectly. We also enjoyed the Vintage Burger served with a Chipotle Thousand Island dressing and a delicious mixture of sweet and regular potato fries.

When is comes to dessert, chocolate is always our go to. With that being said, we have to try the Chocolate Custard. They also offer non-chocolate desserts, and a wide selection. The Chocolate Custard is served with a chocolate pistachio cookie crumb adding the perfect little bit of crunchy topped off the richness of the coffee whipped cream.

Vintage 95 was a wonderful setting for a fantastic evening. We will be sure stopping by again. To plan your visit or check out their latest menu offerings, visit vintage95.com.
