Volanti is the new contemporary restaurant and lounge at the Scottsdale Airport that overlooks the runway and has spectacular views of the McDowell Mountains.
While the views were what drew us to Volanti, the food was well worth the visit as well. Volanti serves a classic menu with a farm to table focus in a relaxed, modern atmosphere. Perfect for lunch meetings, after work drinks or a nice dinner with friends.
For starters, you’ll find a variety of options including Hummus, Bruschetta and Ahi Tuna. The appetizers you MUST try is the Warm Potato Chip Stack. This delicious bowl of house made potato chips is topped with applewood smoked bacon, green onions, warm cobrlaes blue cheese, buffalo sauce, and fondue.
There are salads, sandwiches and classic entrees on both the lunch and dinner menu. The Volanti Burger, award-winning Green Chile Mac n’ Cheese and the Mahi Mahi Tacos are our top picks.
Brunch is served on weekends, 9am to 3pm, with some of their classic menu items as well as breakfast options such as omelets, biscuits and gravy, french toast and more.
Happy Hour is 3-6pm daily, offering discounted prices on select appetizers, $5 wines, well cocktails and craft beers and $4 domestic beers.
Volanti at the Scottsdale Airport is open Monday – Thursday, 9am to 9pm, Friday – Saturday 9am to 10pm and Sunday 9am to 8pm.
