But with the appointment of Chef Dushyant Singh, the culinary creative has managed to breathe new life into the destination’s menu offerings—now, with a fresher Mediterranean flair.
Andaz Scottsdale Resort and Bungalows is truly a desert oasis—one of Arizona’s most ethereal wellness spaces that rests on 23 secluded acres and boasts picturesque views of Camelback Mountain. Weft & Warp serves as the resort’s premiere on-site dining escape—but for visitors, locals and foodies alike, the restaurant is much more.
With floor-to-ceiling windows, cozy low lighting and abstract paintings that add an artistic, color splash to the neutral-toned space, Weft & Warp’s interior seamlessly blends the vibe of a modern kitchen and bar, with that of a more luxe eatery.
Chef Singh’s latest revamp of the restaurant’s menu marks a new era for Weft & Warp—and a more exquisite, flavorful one, at that.
Guests are immediately treated to an immersive culinary experience upon their arrival—complete with savory starters like the mushroom pate, burrata and the especially refreshing hamachi crudo—made with aguachile, avocado, Persian cucumber, shallot and cilantro.
The main courses are thoughtfully crafted, and exhibit the same levels of excellence that are consistently incorporated into all aspects of Weft & Warp. From a golden Mediterranean bass and chipotle-glazed ribeye, to a uniquely sweet duck confit rigatoni—with pasta noodles made in house, no less—the restaurant’s menu plays with ingredients and flavors that are rarely seen (let alone, rightly celebrated) in Arizona’s culinary scene.
Weft & Warp is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., as well as weekends from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
