Reserve

Scottsdale

In 2017, when the aforementioned Café Monarch moved from its home in South Scottsdale to a larger space across the street, the prior 1,200-sq.-ft. space was then re-imagined into Reserve. Inspired by Café Monarch owner Gustavo Lewkowicz’s travels through Spain, the ultra-fine dining concept offers a 12-course tasting menu limited to just 25 guests a night. The experience starts with a reception inside the main building, which resembles a living room in a luxe mansion, and is followed by dinner under the stars. Though it changes seasonally, typical menus may feature king crab, lobster and Miyazaki Japanese Mishima Wagyu steak. Each course is presented tableside like a work of art, meant to elicit a visual and aromatic response long before anything touches the guests’ lips.
