Saint Urban at McCormick Ranch

Recently opened in the heart of Scottsdale’s McCormick Ranch neighborhood, Saint Urban offers a stylish and elevated wine bar experience. Named after the patron saint of wine vintners, Saint Urban is the latest venture from chef and owner Christopher Collins, who also runs popular restaurants like Collins Brothers Public House, Grassroots Kitchen and Tap, and Sweet Provisions.

Saint Urban is more than just a wine bar. It’s a celebration of community and great food, allowing guests to create memorable moments. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out or an intimate dining experience, this new addition to McCormick Ranch has become a neighborhood favorite.

Designed in collaboration with Jennifer Reynolds of Ideation Design Group, Saint Urban’s covered patio, surrounded by lush greenery, provides the perfect spot for enjoying Arizona’s winter weather, complete with oversized communal tables for larger gatherings. Don’t worry; there are heaters placed throughout the patio to ensure you’re warm all winter long. Inside, standout design elements include the striking brass and back-lit mirror behind the centerpiece bar, creating a modern-chic atmosphere.

Saint Urban’s all-day menu is designed to be light, refreshing, and shareable. Among the highlights are a variety of bruschetta options such as prosciutto and herb goat cheese, avocado and lime, and spicy capocollo and truffle goat cheese. Create a casual, grazing-style meal by ordering a few small plates to share. The marinated olives are an absolute must-try, bursting with flavor. They’re served alongside whole garlic cloves, crisp giardiniera, and a medley of fresh herbs lightly coated in olive oil. The pickled cauliflower and celery from the giardiniera add a nice crunch that elevates the dish. The plancha artichokes are a showstopper, served on a creamy garlic aioli and finished with a topping of crispy lemon-zest bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. For something chilled, the golden beets deliver on flavor, paired with herbed goat cheese, spiced almonds, and a drizzle of honey. Cheese lovers will find their paradise in the stracciatella and Napa balsamic. This dish celebrates stracciatella, an Italian cheese made from pulled mozzarella curds blended with heavy cream. The cheese is paired with arugula dressed in balsamic and blistered tomatoes, creating a perfectly balanced bite.

The Saltwater Saint Raw Bar offers an array of seafood delights, including West Coast oysters prepared in three ways (Fresh Shucked, Broiled Rockefeller, and Supreme). Another standout is the sweet sesame rice bowl, featuring sushi-grade wild salmon or yellowfin ahi tuna marinated in a house-made sriracha aioli, paired with chilled sticky rice, avocado slices, and topped with sesame seeds. A unique sashimi option is the Salt on the Block sashimi. Wild salmon, yellowfin ahi tuna, or hamachi are presented on a large Himalayan salt block, infusing each bite with a subtle hint of natural saltiness. Each piece of fish is garnished with agave-ponzu sauce, almond-garlic chili oil, and microgreens.

Saint Urban’s menu also features a selection of salads and sandwiches, perfect for a light meal or satisfying lunch. A standout is the Girl Dinner, a crowd favorite that pairs your choice of salad with crispy truffle shoestring potatoes. Salad options include classics like Caesar or chopped salad, as well as more adventurous choices like the hamachi and mango salad or the bacon steak and kale salad. For those seeking something heartier, the orange-ginger chicken thighs offer an elevated twist on classic orange chicken. These tender, flavorful chicken thighs are infused with a refreshing orange flavor and served alongside creamy whipped mashed potatoes, enhanced with chorizo for a unique spin on a traditional side. The dish is beautifully garnished with three Peppadew peppers and complemented by a rich jus sauce that ties all the flavors together.

Saint Uban offers a thoughtfully curated wine list with 30 wines available by the glass or bottle, alongside a selection of Arizona craft beers. The bar also features enticing weekly specials. Guests can enjoy Monday’s Wine and Dine deal (any wine bottle and board for $30), half-priced raw bar offerings on Wednesday, and the Sunday Sunset Happy Hour, which runs from 11 a.m. until sunset.
