North Scottsdale Italian restaurant, Sassi, is offering a special three-course menu for only $39 throughout the month of December.
The first course of this special features rigatoni alla Contadina, featuring tri-colored cauliflower, garlic, chilies, anchovies and Parmigiano. Pancetta-wrapped pork tenderloin with green lentils and a fig demiglacè provides an exceptional main entrée. A decadent dessert features flourless chocolate cake with toasted fennel, candied orange gelato and chocolate balsamic. This special menu includes an option of two premium six-ounce Italian wines – Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva, Carpineto 2004 and Brunello di Montalcino, Argiano 2005 – for an additional $25.
