Spinato’s Pizzeria & Family Kitchen–which is celebrating its 50th anniversary–has been named the Official Pizza of the Arizona Cardinals. In September, a variety of Spinato’s tasty favorites will be available at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
“Over the past five decades, we’ve worked hard to deliver what we call ‘the Spinato’s experience,’ to our guests. From the moment you walk in, we want you to feel like part of a big family. We’ve grown to six locations in Tempe, Scottsdale, Ahwatukee, Gilbert, and Phoenix. This partnership marks our first entry into the West Valley, and we could not be more excited to do it with such a beloved sports team,” says Anthony Spinato, CEO, in a press release.
When the football season kicks off in September, Spinato’s will start dishing out a trio of fresh pizzas, an Italian beef sandwich, a Caesar salad (with or without chicken), cheesy garlic bread with marinara, and decadent brownie bite desserts at four concession stands during Cardinals’ home games at State Farm Stadium and at other stadium events.
Even fans who can’t make it to a game can enjoy the Sept. 8 launch of the football-inspired Red Zone pizza at all Spinato’s locations. The tasty new option features Spinato’s signature sauce, Canadian bacon, roasted red peppers, pepperoncini, mozzarella, and spinach spice.
“The Canadian bacon and roasted red bell peppers bring a red element to the pizza, while the pepperoncini bring a little spice for our Arizona heat,” Spinato says.
To further commemorate this new partnership, Spinato’s will also introduce new specials and promotions and air football games during the NFL season. The restaurant will also open an hour earlier at 11 a.m. on Sundays beginning Sept. 8, when the Cardinals take on the Buffalo Bills in New York.
