Spinato’s Pizzeria & Family Kitchen Welcomes State Forty Eight Pizza

Two iconic Arizona-based names, Spinato’s Pizzeria & Family Kitchen and State Forty Eight, celebrate community, creativity, and the entrepreneurial spirit with a brand-new (and delicious) collaboration. Through the end of May, the beloved Valley pizzeria will be dishing up a special Southwest-inspired State Forty Eight pizza at all six Spinato’s locations.

The exclusive State Forty Eight pizza brings together Spinato’s signature handcrafted flavors with bold Southwestern flair with olive oil, mozzarella, pico de gallo, feta, lime crema, cotija, and cilantro. The special pizza pairs beautifully with The Phoenix, an orange blossom margarita brimming with bright, citrusy notes that complement the richness of the pizza’s feta. The exclusive offering also marks the first time Spinato’s is offering a LTO pizza created with Hayden Flour Mills flour.

“We are big fans of State Forty Eight, and we jumped at the chance to collaborate with them on a pizza to raise funds for their foundation,” says Anthony Spinato, CEO of Spinato’s Pizzeria & Family Kitchen, in a press release. “Mike Spangenberg and his State Forty Eight team do tremendous work supporting small businesses and startups. We admire their innovation and commitment to strengthening our community, and we’re excited that our guests can help support their efforts as well.”

As part of this special collab, guests will also have an opportunity to purchase a special State Forty Eight/Spinato’s T-shirt. Available for $30, while supplies last, the T-shirt captures the essence of Arizona’s stunning desert landscape while also paying tribute to Hayden Flour Mills, another staple in the community.

“Arizona is full of incredible, talented entrepreneurs with diverse business challenges,” says Mike Spangenberg, CEO and co-founder of State Forty Eight and chairman of the board for the State Forty Eight Foundation, in a recent press release. “Our goal is to lift them up with support and guidance. Ultimately, we want to build a thriving ecosystem of local businesses committed to creating a stronger economy for all who call Arizona home.”

A special launch party is expected to take place on April 9, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Gilbert location. Guests can purchase pizza, margaritas, T-shirts, and stickers with a portion of proceeds helping the State Forty Eight Foundation, which empowers local entrepreneurs.
