The latest addition to Medina Hospitality’s growing brand collection is The Edison Market, a locally-owned spot offering upscale provisions in its market, indulgent sips from its coffee shop and tasty bites from its on-site eatery. The Edison Market is slated to open in Downtown Prescott in 2023.
Medina Hospitality, a local hospitality firm, has just purchased a building located next to the iconic Motor Lodge Motel in Northern Arizona (another concept from Medina Hospitality) to flip and transition into The Edison Market. The new shopping destination in Downtown Prescott is set to provide an elevated take on traditional convenience stores by offering a unique selection of goods and providing a destination to not only shop but to grab a coffee or bite to eat.
“We are excited about the transformation of this project,” says Nick Medina, CEO of Medina Hospitality, in a press release. “The Edison Market is not your normal convenience store. We want customers to completely rethink their expectation of what a convenience store can — and should — be. We are excited to lead this charge and help transform the future of convenience stores.”
Medina aims to establish The Edison Market as a place for locals and tourists alike to gather and enjoy each other’s company at its full-service coffee bar and neighborhood eatery. The market will feature traditional items like beer, wine and grab-and-go snacks, in addition to a selection of seasonal items, rotating goods and chef-inspired bites.
“We are working hard to develop a unique design and inviting décor for The Edison and we will ensure that the goods available to shoppers are high-quality, unique items that they will want to come back for again and again,” says Medina in a press release.
