The Global Ambassador, Arizona’s most anticipated luxury hotel opening this year, is officially set to debut this fall in Phoenix. The long-awaited hotel will feature five globally-inspired restaurants, as well as a private members-only dining experience curated by hospitality giant, Sam Fox.
The highly-awaited opening of The Global Ambassador in Phoenix is finally slated for mid-November of 2023. The new hotel promises a sophisticated and worldly hospitality experience deeply rooted in celebrating the local community. The five exceptional restaurants featured at the new destination are a reflection of the owner, Sam Fox‘s, international travels and his passion for global cuisine. With over 140 restaurants and 12 James Beard Award nominations, Fox is a respected and celebrated figure in the food and hospitality industry.
“As the hotel name implies, the restaurants are an expression of all these spectacular places. We’re now several months away from opening our doors, and I’m excited to showcase what has been almost a decade in the making,” says Fox, who is opening the hotel under his company Author & Edit Hospitality, in a press release. “These five restaurants are gathering places, not only for travelers and hotel guests, but for locals who have been instrumental in our success.”
In addition to a private, members-only restaurant, The Grill, guests can soon experience a collection of five signature dining destinations, including Le Âme, Le Market, Pink Dolphin, theà and Lobby Bar.
Nestled within The Global Ambassador lies Le Âme, a Parisian steakhouse that perfectly blends romantic charm with culinary excellence. The menu boasts a wide selection of traditional French dishes like steak frites au poivre and French onion soup, as well as unique takes on classics like tuna carpaccio and brick-pressed chicken coq au vin. Complementing the flavors of each dish is a carefully selected wine list curated by the hotel’s master sommelier to reflect Parisian roots and global influences.
With a chic and elegant setting, Le Market is an ode to les deux amours, good company and simple pleasures. The destination offers decadent pastries and espresso-forward sips in the morning and transitions to a late-night wine and aromatic cheese tasting perfect for an intimate evening for two or a solo nightcap.
Pink Dolphin, with a name as playful as the culinary destination itself, is set to offer poolside Mexican and Peruvian-inspired dishes and handcrafted sips to complement. The casual eatery will offer a wide range of margaritas and authentic cocktails, each made with fresh ingredients and pressed juices. A refreshing Peruvian ceviche is the star of the lineup, crafted with a blend of seafood, including shrimp, white fish and scallops.
theà, translating to “the goddess of light,” is set to serve as a haven where guests can enjoy sky-high opulence with a stunning indoor/outdoor dining space, three distinctive bars and a sumptuous fireside lounge—all with the spectacular backdrop of Camelback Mountain. The dining destination’s menu, curated by Eric Kim Haugen, a culinary veteran most known for his appearances on Food Network’s “Iron Chef America” and “Big Restaurant Bet,” will explore mezze, pasta and coastal seafood with dips, flatbreads and more. Cocktails at theà will rival the most extensive rosé collection in the desert, including Fox’s go-to sipper, RUMOR from Provence.
Indulge in refined sophistication at The Lobby Bar, where every moment is a treat for the senses. Savor a mixture of classic and craft cocktails with a European flair, including the noteworthy Basil & Ginger and Caffe Du Jour. Pair your cocktail with a delicious snack from the all-day menu, such as lobster croquettes or housemade potato chips with French onion dip (made even more luxurious with the addition of Osetra caviar).
