The Italiano

The Maggiore Group, known for popular concepts like Hash Kitchen and The Sicilian Butcher, has expanded once again with its newest restaurant, The Italiano. With the combination of classic Italian dishes and interactive dining experiences, The Italiano is set to be a stand-out fine dining establishment in Scottsdale.

The entryway to The Italiano welcomes guests with bold blue tiles, olive trees, and lemon yellow accents, evoking the charm of the Italian coast. Once inside, The Italiano’s formal dining room features a stunning hand-painted sky ceiling with soft pink lighting, similar to the ambiance of the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Each evening is elevated with live piano music, creating an enchanting dining experience under an ever-changing pink sky.

At The Italiano, guests can indulge in a variety of tableside experiences. The antipasto cart allows guests to curate a charcuterie board, selecting from an array of fine meats, cheeses, olives, and accompaniments. A limoncello cart delivers the iconic citrus liqueur directly to your table, adding a fun twist to your evening.

The menu includes appetizers, Italian seafood towers, soups, salads, pizzas, steaks, chops, and an extensive selection of pasta. The legendary pasta ranges from timeless favorites like Bolognese and potato gnocchi to unique options like lobster ravioli, 15-layer lasagna made with short rib, and The Italiano Mare, a seafood pasta with clams, mussels, scallops, calamari, jumbo shrimp, and halibut. Popular appetizers include charred octopus, zucchini blossoms, stuffed Italian peppers, and escarole and beans, a savory combination of charred Sicilian sausage, red sauce, and beans, served with ciabatta on the side.

Indulge in classic Italian desserts such as tiramisu served in an edible chocolate cup, Italian rainbow cake, Sicilian cannoli, and more. Pair these decadent treats with French Italian press coffee and espresso-based drinks. If you’re looking for a sweet treat with a pick-me-up, try the frozen espresso affogato, a combination of sweet vanilla ice cream topped with a shot of espresso.

For a sweet finish, dessert cocktails are served neat or chilled with a slice of orange. Indulge in options like Amaro Montenegro, Fernet-Branca, and Ramazzotti Amaro.

The Lounge offers happy hour Monday to Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m., offering $8 premium well and $2 off all cocktails, glasses of wine, and beer. The Lounge also has a Palla & Bottle deal from Monday to Friday, from 4 to 6 p.m. This deal includes a select bottle of wine and a pizza for $20.
