Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, A Gurney’s Resort & Spa’s elements restaurant offers a reason to celebrate this scorching season with its limited-time The Summer Taste prix-fixe menu.

Available through Sept. 15, Sunday to Thursday, The Summer Taste of elements is a three-course, prix-fixe menu that dishes up the very best of Executive Chef Gregory James’s exclusive summer menu for $65 per person.

Each course offers a trio of delicious options. The roasted baby beets, paired with caramelized coconut yogurt, orange, pistachio brittle, blue cheese, and leek ash, is a beautiful, vibrant option for kicking off The Summer Taste menu. Entree options include Dave’s Two Wash Ranch chicken confit; a delightfully light and flaky organic ocean trout prepared with an Asian twist; and a hearty, will-have-you-longing-for-winter wagyu beef short rib, with cornbread pudding, carrot, radish, turnip, melted onion, and red onion jus.

For the ultimate nostalgic treat, opt for elements’ ice cream sandwich for dessert. The chocolate-covered sandwich comprises a creamy coffee gelato center between crunchy chocolate biscuits. Also available from Sunday to Thursday through Sept. 15 is elements’ half-price wine bottle special, which spotlights a delicious bottle selection for a fraction of the cost.

Another way to savor the season at elements is via its weekend brunch, available Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., or even make it a night with the Arizona Staycation Package, available through Sept. 19. Via the staycation package, locals can enjoy a 25 percent savings on the resort’s Casita or Suite and a $50 nightly resort credit.
