The Trailhead’s Announces New Dining Destinations

The Trailhead, the sparkling jewel of Peoria’s vibrant Happy Valley Corridor, is about to give your taste buds a serious upgrade by welcoming new dining destinations. Whether you’re craving Southwest-Asian fusion, a steaming bowl of ramen, or a hearty Italian feast, this new dining hotspot has you covered.

This is exciting news for West Valley residents, who have long been craving more dining options, as a variety of restaurants and retailers have already committed to calling The Trailhead, a 40-acre, mixed-use development at 83rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road, their new home.

A standout future palate pleaser is Sparrow, a 4,431-sq.-ft. hotspot that will offer a bold mix of Southwestern, Thai, and Korean flavors when it opens this summer. This venture from Sky Restaurant Group reunites Chef Schuyler Estes and former partner Parker Ganem, the duo behind Urban Agave and Squid Ink. According to Sparrow’s Instagram, diners can expect an unforgettable experience, with a menu full of unique flavors and vibrant personalities.

“Tenants of this caliber are a win for Peoria residents who have been clamoring for a quality dining experience near their homes,” says Jim Pederson, founder and chairman of Pederson Group, the project’s developer.

In addition to Sparrow, Jinya Ramen Bar is bringing its mouthwatering, slow-cooked ramen to The Trailhead. Famous for its 20-hour-simmered broths, Jinya lets you customize your perfect bowl while enjoying a sleek, stylish vibe. Whether you’re craving the rich Tonkotsu Black, the savory Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, or the umami-packed Chicken Shoyu, Jinya has something for every palate. The 3,518-sq.-ft. spot opens next month and marks Jinya’s second location in the Valley. Get ready to slurp in style.

For those craving pasta and pizza, Crust Simply Italian will open at The Trailhead in 2026. This fan favorite, with locations all over the Valley, is a foodie haven known for its creamy whipped ricotta with fire-roasted veggies, mouthwatering bruschetta, savory chicken parmesan, and indulgent tiramisu. The 6,160-sq.-ft. space will also feature an upscale, elegant speakeasy.

Additional current dining options include Einstein Bros. Bagels and Robeks Fresh Juices and Smoothies, which both opened in February—because who doesn’t love starting the day with a bagel or fueling up with a smoothie?

The Trailhead is also set to welcome additional tenants this spring, with DIP Nail Bar, V’s Barbershop, and Pac Dental joining Eye Studio Peoria and AZ Vitality med-spa, which opened last month. Nestled in the heart of Peoria and named after the area’s trail system, The Trailhead is poised to become the commercial crown jewel of the vibrant Happy Valley Corridor. With 3,000-plus new homes in the works and over 56,000 households nearby, this development is primed to be a hub of activity and palate pleaser.
