Uchi Scottsdale Launches Elevated Sushi To-Go Boxes

Uchi Scottsdale invites guests to try its newest offering, the Sushi Box experience. The new sushi to-go box brings the intimacy of the Old Town sushi bar straight to your doorstep.

Chef Tyson Cole opened his seventh Uchi location in Scottsdale in February, bringing his renowned sushi expertise to the Valley. The menu includes hot and cool tastings, alongside expertly crafted sushi and sashimi. Diners can also experience an ever-changing omakase, a chef’s tasting menu that showcases the freshest ingredients.

Now, Uchi Scottsdale introduces its Sushi Boxes, allowing guests to enjoy a premium sushi experience from the comfort of their own homes, ensuring the elegance and excellence of Uchi are accessible, anytime, anywhere. The Sushi Box comes in three tiers: the Ichi, showcasing the Uchi classics; Ni, featuring six varieties of fish; and San, elevating the experience with two caviar sets.

The experience is perfect for those date nights in when you don’t want to leave your house but still want an elevated experience with your special someone. The boxes are a shimmering light gold, beautifully stacked with each layer inside lined with a gleaming gold interior. The fish is delicately placed and meticulously arranged, creating a visually stunning presentation. Each at-home Sushi Box is prepared with the same level of care and precision you’d expect at their restaurant.

The hama chili crudo is a standout in the Ni box. Following the provided instructions for the perfect bite, we paired the slice of yellowtail with a piece of orange and dipped it in ponzu sauce. The citrus flavors combined in our mouths, creating a seamless blend that truly was the perfect bite. Each at-home box will include the hama chili crudo as it is one of the restaurant’s longest-standing dishes on the menu. The chirashi was another favorite, as the otoro melts in your mouth, and the crisp cucumber and rich avocado provide a refreshing contrast.

On top of each box, there is a QR code that allows you to view its contents from your phone. This feature not only enhances the dining experience but also educates guests on the ingredients and craftsmanship behind their meal.

Uchi Scottsdale also announces a Summer Dinner Series in collaboration with local Valley chefs from July through September. Uchi Chef de Cuisine Blake Luecke will welcome Chef Matt Carter of Scottsdale’s The Mission on July 16 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $175 per person plus tax and gratuity and are available for purchase here.
