Geordie’s at Phoenix’s Wrigley Mansion has welcomed Aperitivo, a concept offering select beer, wines and mini cocktails, all at special prices. Available to guests in Geordie’s Lounge and Jamie’s Wine Bar, Aperitivo runs from Wednesday to Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m.
Nestled atop a hill, the 1930’s Wrigley Mansion provides an opulent atmosphere for this Italian-inspired dining experience. Aperitivo is an Italian tradition of enjoying a drink and a light bite before dinner. Geordie’s is offering special pricing on its Aperitivo menu. Mini cocktails, mini zero-proof cocktails and Somm select wines by the glass are $8, select beers are $6, and Somm select bottles of wine start at $35.
Geordie’s Aperitivo menu features five mini cocktails and one zero-proof mini cocktail. The selection includes Aperol Spritz, Carajillo, Monte-Hattan, French 75 and the Hugo Spritz. The Carajillo is similar to an espresso martini made with Mr. Black, espresso and Licor 43 for a rich, bold flavor. The Aperol Spritz is perfect if you’re looking for a refreshing summer drink and comes garnished with an orange slice. The French 75 is a gin-based cocktail with notes of lemon and a touch of Champagne. The Hugo Spritz offers hints of elderflower and mint, and the Monte-Hattan is a play on a Manhattan made with Amaro Montenegro. For those who prefer a non-alcoholic option, Geordie’s offers the Cherry Amour. This zero-proof cocktail, made with non-alcoholic gin, has notes of cherry and lime.
Geordie’s Lounge has a patio that offers the best views of the Valley, making it the perfect place to unwind before dinner. If you’re looking for a light bite, the petite charcuterie board is an excellent choice. The board features an assortment of cured meats and cheeses, complemented by a dollop of apple butter, grilled Noble bread, flower-shaped pickled beets, mixed nuts, pickled cauliflower, and a blackberry sauce artfully placed throughout the board.
Choose to enjoy Aperitivo at Geordie’s Lounge or Jamie’s Wine Bar, each offering a unique ambiance for your evening. Jamie’s Wine Bar has a moody atmosphere, with crystal chandeliers, a fireplace, wood-paneled walls, green and tan suede lounge seating and vintage book decor. In contrast, Geordie’s Lounge offers a brighter, more open atmosphere with tile floors, wood accidents, bar seating and lounge seating with access to a patio that provides stunning views of Downtown Phoenix. Whichever venue you dine in, you’re sure to create unforgettable memories at this iconic Phoenix landmark.
